Tips for Transporting christmas snacks to school
Use storage containers with dividers if necessary. If you don’t have dividers but think they would help to protect the food, you can make some. Just fold a sheet of aluminum foil into strips and use to divide the food. You can also use aluminum foil to make little nests for delicate items.
The best way to transport whole cakes or desserts (especially if they have frosting) is to use a shallow cardboard box. You can add some toothpicks and cover it in aluminum foil. The toothpicks will keep the foil from touching the frosting.
When placing your box or tub in the car, the safest place is in an unoccupied passenger footwell. Keep your Christmas snack ideas for school away from feet though. This way, if you have to brake sharply, the food won’t slide off the seat and onto the floor.
