If you’re anything like me then you’re a bit of a worrier when it comes to your kids. You might not have had the best start to the day. Maybe it was a rush to find that missing item that they just had to have. Maybe they have fallen out with a friend or they are being picked on by another kid. Maybe they have a test and they don’t feel they are going to do well. It seems like they are away from home for a long time even if it is really just a few hours!
It’s comforting to know that there IS a way to send your child some love and support even when you can’t physically be with them.

The Best Places To Put The Lunchbox Notes
When I pack up their lunch bag in the morning, I like to add one of these sweet notes as a surprise treat. It’s best to add them to the interior mesh pocket to keep them away from anything cold that attract moisture such as a fridge cold juice box. On hot days, I use an ice pack alongside their food in the roomy main compartment and the notes can get a little soggy if you place them there.
When my kids open their lunch boxes at snack time or lunch time, they get a lovely surprise. The motivational card shows them some Mom love during their day at school. What’s more, I know that there is something I can do to brighten things up when I think they might be having a tough day.
Mermaid Lunchbox Notes
I’m so excited about the range of lunchbox notes that I have for you. These mermaid tails notes are so cute but you can have a different theme if your kids are not up for a bit of mermaid delight. There are lots of fun designs. Best of all, you get a digital PDF file so you can instantly download them and print them at home. Thin card works best for printing these mermaid lunchbox notes and you can laminate them if you wish. There are eight pre-written notes and eight blank notes so that you can write your own messages if you prefer. You might like to tailor your message when you know what is happening in their day.
How To Create Excitement With Lunchbox Notes
If you use the notes every day then I like to hide them in a different place in their lunchbox. This adds an element of excitement and fun! Use the zippered front pocket. A laminated card could even be hidden between two sandwiches then the sandwiches wrapped in tinfoil into a small parcel. The element of surprise is key here and adds to the delight when little hands come across the note.
Another way to add excitement is to use the notes on some days but not others so your kid does not know if they have a note or not. Make sure they don’t have a cheeky squint into the lunchbox or bento box before they go to school!
